Running is one of the most accessible sports to women, yet almost all women run with wrong or inefficient technique, leading to injuries and/or loss of interest. It’s one of the most natural and functional sports we can do and has a profound positive impact on other sports (e.g. lifting, gymnastics, overall fitness and conditioning).
We will run a 3 hour workshop to focus on running technique, and talk strategies for whatever running goals you have coming up, as well as complementary strength training for runners as women, how we manage our training around our superpower, our cycle.
The workshop will start with a warm-up, technique drills, building some leg strength, then finishing with a spicy running conditioning workout to build some muscle memory with some of the new skills you learned.
Our Jennie, fresh from snatching silver at New Zealand nationals in February, will guide you through the world of running and ensure an enjoyable and injury-free approach for whatever your next running adventure will be, whether it’s Hyrox, a Marathon, a trail run, or a local neighbourhood event.
